Just a few weeks after three tickets matched the $448 million jackpot, the Powerball jackpot is back on the rise.
The next drawing is Saturday, Sept. 14 for $317 million. Each ticket is $2.
The largest jackpot in U.S. history was a $656 million prize in the Mega Millions drawing that was split between three tickets in Kansas, Illinois and Maryland in March 2012.
