Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds was awarded the 2,508th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Responsible for more than 100 top 10 R&B and pop singles during his career and notably called the Quincy Jones of the ’90s, BF accepted this prestigious honor with Antonio “L.A.” Reid, Usher and Sean “P Diddy” Combs.
A 10-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter-producer, Edmonds wrote some of the 1990s’ most successful R&B jams and became a very successful solo artist. A few of the stars he has worked with in his career are Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Boyz II Men, Pink, TLC, Madonna, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion and Toni Braxton.
Babyface and Reid together founded LaFace Records, who gave us amazing artists like TLC, Usher and Braxton. He is still sought out and is now working with new talent like Lil Wayne, Fall Out Boy and Ariana Grande on her recent debut Yours Truly. In November, he is releasing a duet album with Braxton called Love, Marriage, Divorce.
