They say diamonds are forever, however, Kris Humphries doesn’t think so. Humphries has auctioned off what was his last connection to Kim Kardashian after their failed 72 day marriage.

Kim Kardashian’s engagement ring from ex-husband Kris Humphries sold at a Christie’s auction in New York on Oct. 15 for a whopping $749,000, according to Us Weekly. The bidding on the exquisite 20-carat ring opened at $200,000. The Lorraine Schwartz creation, which  includes a 16.21-carat center diamond and two 1.8-carat side diamonds is reportedly worth $2 million. The buyer, so far, remains anonymous.

Kris and Kim were married in a lavish ceremony in August 2011 with Kim filing for divorce in October. The divorce was finalized in June 2013. Kim moved on long before the divorce was finalized when she began dating rapper Kanye West in 2012.
