Rebecca Harrington, a die hard King Bey fan, decided to take on a variety of Beyonce’s strict diet plans in order to transform her body in just a few weeks. Harrington, approached Mrs. Carter’s diet and rigorous exercise routine with an open mind saying:
“I will endure the Master Cleanse that Beyoncé endured when she lost weight for Dreamgirls — I will attempt the herculean diet Beyoncé used to lose weight after birthing Blue Ivy.”
After soaring through the first week of her all-liquid diet, Harrington admits that the low-carb, high protein stage wasn’t nearly as horrifying as expected.
“I have to say, the actual food on this diet was not terrible. It was sparse, yes, but flavorful,” said Harrington.
And after just 10 days of consuming cayenne lemon water, yellow shashimi and a variety of oat cakes, Harrington dropped a whopping 10 pounds! But it wasn’t a cake walk.
“The real hardship of this particular regimen was the exercise. Beyoncé worked out for two hours a day to get rid of the baby weight and it is hard for a working woman with a busy schedule,” she revealed.
“It was Beyoncé’s music that got me through it.”
