RuPaul may not have been biologically born a woman, but it comes as no surprise that the world famous drag queen has long been regarded as one of the most beautiful women in the industry, both inside and out. That beauty certainly helped RuPaul snag a coveted MAC cosmetics contract back in the ‘90s and again earlier this year, showing women (and men) across the world how to be regular day pretty and drag queen beautiful. But now, RuPaul is taking her beauty standard to new heights with the announcement that she’s launching her own line of cosmetics and perfumes.
According to World of Wonder, RuPaul has teamed with Colorevolution to launch her beauty collection, which she’s appropriately dubbed “Glamazon.” The new beauty line will feature unisex cosmetics and fragrances and launch on Nov. 21.
“Glamazon is for women and men of all ages and preferences who share one thing in common: They are not afraid to be fierce. For me, glamour should be accessible to all, and I am committed to helping the world look and smell more beautiful,” said RuPaul.
According to NewNowNext, the line will be available through both Ricky’s NYC and Colorevolution. Glamazon gift boxes reportedly include a waterproof eye pencil, blush, eyeshadow, mascara, lip gloss and liquid eyeliner.
Well, RuPaul may be new to running a beauty line, but if you’re like us and you’ve seen more than a few episodes of “Drag Race” and the makeup skills that a legend like RuPaul has with “painting” faces, then you understand why we have no doubt that the line will likely be worth every penny.
