Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers by Wu-Tang Clan
Released: November 9th, 1994

A nine-man rap crew out of Staten Island, NY with a kung-fu fixation and dark, murky beats didn’t seem like the sort of thing that would become a major crossover phenomenon, but that’s exactly what happened when RZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Ghostface Killah and the rest emerged towards the end of the 1993. The Wu breathed new life and creative energy into East Coast hip-hop, and would go on to become one of the most acclaimed and beloved rap groups of all time.
