Sherri Shepherd shines as ambassador of First Ladies Health Luncheon with the help of a few friends
Sherri Shepherd, co-host of the Emmy Award-winning talk show “The View,” spoke candidly at the Third Annual Walgreens First Ladies Health Luncheon in Los Angeles about how her diagnosis of type 2 diabetes actually saved her life. The Walgreens First Ladies Health Luncheon was attended by a coalition of more than 100 pastors’ wives from the Los Angeles area who are committed to turning the tide of the proliferation of chronic illnesses in their communities. Shepherd began her ambassadorship with the health initiative in 2012, and has since spoken at three of the program’s luncheons.
