50 Cent has been hard at work as executive producer of the upcoming Starz network crime drama Power.
He just announced that he intends to double his duty and take on a recurring role in the series, as well.
50 will play a character named Kanan, long time friend of main character Ghost. As previously reported on rolling out, the series stars Omar Hardwick as a NYC drug kingpin attempting to leave the game and start over as a legit businessman.
Other co-stars of the series include Naturi Naughton, La La Anthony, Lela Loren and Joseph Sikora.
Power is set to premiere on Starz sometime in 2014.
