Meek Mill’s Thanksgiving turkey giveaway
Meek Mill is hosting a 2013 Thanksgiving turkey giveaway. With a goal to feed 600 needy families and to benefit nonprofits Youth Working Together, Town Watch and Unity In the Community, Meek Mill will make an appearance in his hometown of Philadelphia for the occasion.
“Philly raised me and made me into the man I am today, so to do the first annual ‘A Dreamchaser’s Thanksgiving,’ was an obvious thing to do,” said Meek Mill in a statement. “I’m blessed to be in a position where I can make sure that as many people as possible have a meal on Thanksgiving, so that they can be with their loved ones to enjoy the holiday.”
Details on Meek Mill’s Thanksgiving giveaway are below, local elected officials including Mayor Nutter are expected to attend.
