Mama Joyce Has Her Eyes On Todd
After weeks away at work for BET, Todd comes home to a nice meal from Kandi. But the mood is broken when Kandi jokingly reveals that Mama Joyce claims he is an opportunist and is too broke to be the one for Kandi. Todd is hurt and infuriated at both Joyce and Kandi and demands that they all meet to try to work things out. When Joyce comes over, she quickly tells Todd that he doesn’t make enough money to be the provider Kandi needs and that he’s just using her to live a life of luxury. Joyce also accuses him of sleeping around with Kandi’s best friend Carmen. Kandi tries to defend Todd, but Joyce refuses to hear anyone else’s side. Todd continually tries to make peace with Joyce but she warns him that she’s always going to be watching him and waiting for him to mess up.
