A tweet — seemingly from Hilton’s account — stated: “RIP Nelson Mandela. Your ‘I Have A Dream’ speech was so inspiring. Amazing man.”
The tweet made the rounds on Thursday after Mandela’s death. Naturally, mockery of the socialite for her apparent cluelessness quickly took off.
Before the matter could get cleared up, the famously dimwitted blond was vilified on the social network.
