George Zimmerman’s girlfriend wants charges dropped
Samantha Scheibe, the woman who initially told police that her boyfriend George Zimmerman put a two-barrel shotgun in her face, is changing her story. Scheibe, 27, previously called authorities in November after the former neighborhood watchman threatened her with the weapon and broke a glass table with it during an argument.
“You put your gun in my freakin’ face and told me to get the f— out!” Scheibe yelled at Zimmerman during a 911 call.
She then told the dispatcher that Zimmerman pushed her out of her home and locked the door.
Now according to Scheibe, the entire incident was blown out of proportion and she wants the charges dropped. Zimmerman recently presented a signed affidavit from Scheibe saying that she no longer wants him charged with aggravated assault, battery and criminal mischief.
Instead, Scheibe says she’s not afraid of the man she calls “her boyfriend” and investigators misinterpreted what she said.
“I am not afraid of George in any manner and I want to be with him,” Scheibe wrote.
Despite Scheibe’s request, prosecutors could still pursue a domestic violence case without her permission.
It was previously revealed that Scheibe said she wanted to “save” Zimmerman from depression and at one point convinced him not to commit suicide.
