Former semi-pro football player takes on obesity, 1 client at a time

Former semi-pro football player, Quinton Forehand, takes his health very seriously and decided to help others as they take the journey to better health and reach their fitness goals as well. We sat down with Quinton to learn more about his decision to start Full Body Detailing and help others fight obesity.

At what point in your life did you know this was the job for you?
During my career as a semi-pro football player, a couple at the gym asked me to assist them in their fitness goals. After that, I knew that this could be some thing I do professionally.


How many clients have you trained?
Over 100

Of those, how many have been successful?
90 percent


How much time should one set aside each week to effectively reach fitness goals?
12 hours a week; 2 hours a day.

When choosing a personal trainer, what factors should be considered?
Effectiveness, knowledge,  price, availability and location.

What are the qualities of a good personal trainer?
Looking the part and having the knowledge.

Have you ever encountered a difficult client? If so, how do you deal with difficult clients?
Yes. I inform them that I am here to help them achieve their goals.

What methods do you use to motivate your clients?
Positive reinforcements such as photos as they reach their goals.

What does your typical diet consist of?
Oatmeal, fish, salads, high protein meats.

What’s the most challenging aspect of being a PT?
Making sure that my clients achieve their goal.

Do you suggest that your clients delete any food group(s) from their diet?
All depend on the client’s goals.

Do you suggest diet pills/supplements to your clients?
For clients that need that extra push, I suggest Body by Vi products.

What type of workouts do you recommend for beginners?
It all depends on their fitness goals and body type.

Which has the most impact on weight loss – diet or exercise?
Diet is the most influential part of weight lost. You can work out seven days and not loss a pound if you eat trash.

If you had to chose one exercise, which would be your favorite?
Squats because that can be a full body workout.  They works legs, abs and arm by just adding weights.
