2014 SAG Awards winners 

On Saturday, Hollywood flooded Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium for the 20th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. In the television categories “Breaking Bad” and “Modern Family” dominated scoring two awards each.

In film, American Hustle won big taking home the coveted Best Cast award. In the Best Supporting Actress category, however, Jennifer Lawrence was defeated by Hollywood sweetheart Lupita Nyong’o for her role in 12 Years A Slave.

Other winners included Cate Blanchett  for her role in Blue Jasmine while Matthew McConauhgey took home Best Actor for his Dallas Buyers Club performance. McConaughey’s win last night could be foreshadowing for the 2014 Oscars. The last nine Best Actor winners at the SAGs have gone on to win Academy Awards.
