Ever since Apollo Nida was arrested last month on multiple charges of bank fraud and identity theft, fans of the show, rightfully, wondered if his wife, Phaedra Parks, knew about his alleged bad business dealings. Now, a new report claims to have evidence that Parks was involved in Nida’s criminal activities.
According to RadarOnline, documents from the Georgia Secretary of State corporations database allegedly show that Phaedra was listed as a founding officer under the last name Nida in several of her husband’s companies, including “National Recovery Group, Inc.,” “Nida, Inc.,” “Nida Fitness Inc., and Nida Group, Inc.”
None of the companies were listed in Nida’s indictment but the documents do show that Parks was involved, at least in name alone, in her husband’s businesses.
Parks hasn’t been charged for any crimes but there are rumors that she’s facing disbarment from the George State Bar over her connections to Nida’s new controversy.
However, a source claims that the rumors of her disbarment aren’t true.
“She is an active member and has no public discipline,” a rep for the Georgia State Bar said. “She has never been disbarred or suspended and is a member in good standing.”
However, if charges are ever brought against Parks tying her to Nida’s crimes, the rep couldn’t say whether or not Parks wouldn’t be disbarred.
“I cannot answer that question,” the rep said.
Well, for now, it seems like Parks has nothing to worry about when it comes to herself. But her life will still be turned upside down if Nida is convicted of his crimes and goes back to jail. – nicholas robinson
