Brothers rob pregnant woman in labor

Two dangerous criminals are in an Annapolis jail this morning for a heinous crime. The two individuals, Devery Kelley, 24, of Annapolis and Cornell Robinson, 44, are accused of robbing a pregnant woman in labor. The unidentified victim was robbed at gunpoint and was in labor prior to the robbery according to witnesses.   An eyewitness saw the crime unfold and called the police as Kelley and Robinson held the woman and her male friend at gunpoint.

The criminals heard the sirens in the distance and attempted to flee in a stolen car.  The police gave chase and saw a gun being thrown from the car during the pursuit. When the suspects realized there was no escape, they ditched their car and tried to run on foot. The police did not give up the chase and were able to catch both suspects. Both are now in the Annapolis City Jail pending charges being filed today.
