The Steve Harvey Foundation in partnership with Disney and Essence Magazine present the 2014 Disney Dreamers Academy. The event kicks off this Friday at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., and promises to once again be an exciting event. Young people from across the country have been coming to the Dreamers Academy since 2007 and each year it gets bigger. With guest speakers such as NBA legend Magic Johnson, BET’s Terrance J, singer Yolanda Adams, noted motivational speaker
Dr. Steve Perry and many others, the young Dreamers will be exposed to a positive environment to combat the negative influences of teen life.

The 2014 class of 100 Dreamers was selected based on their application essays, grades and extracurricular activities. They will enjoy four days of fun at Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom, all-expenses paid. Rolling out magazine will be there for the entire entire event and will feature not only the students but also the whole Disney experience.
