Four kindergarten students and their teachers are being investigated for engaging in sex acts while in the classroom.

According to reports by Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the sexual acts took place at James Jackson Elementary in Jonesboro, Ga. The four students engaged in sexual acts inside of the classroom on several occasions.

Parents are now questioning school authorities to see why the students were left unsupervised on multiple occasions. One girl’s mother took her daughter to the doctor to be tested for sexually transmitted diseases.

Clayton County school officials say that a thorough investigation is being performed. Parents of the children involved have yet to say if they will take legal action against the school system.
