Police reported overnight that a car being chased by police hit a crowd of people leaving a show at SXSW in Austin, Texas. At this time law enforcement have stated that two people were killed and at least 23 concert goers injured at Club Mohawk. A concert by the musician Tyler had just ended and the street was barricaded for the SXSW festival. Police suspect that the driver was drunk and sped down a one way street in the wrong direction. Before striking the crowd, the driver hit a taxi and struck a moped cycle killing a man and woman. The driver tried to flee the scene but was chased down by police, tasered and arrested. Currently the driver is facing two counts of capital murder with other charges pending.
