Following the shocking reports that he had sexually assaulted several women, New Orleans Saints defensive superstar Darren Sharper will have to add two more names to his long list of victims.
As we previously reported, Sharper was arrested on several rape charges on January, 17. The five time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champ was arrested in L.A. after being linked to two sexual assaults, one that occurred in October 2013 and the other in January 2014. Sharper, who was booked at a Los Angeles jail, was later released on $200,ooo bail. As for the alleged victims of the sexual assault, their names and identities were never released.
Matters became worse, when Sharper allegedly “admitted” to several witnesses, that he and a close friend, Erik Nunez, had non-consensual sex with two other women who were “substantially impaired” on September 23.
Now, two women from Arizona have come forward, claiming that Sharper assaulted them as well TMZ reports. “The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office tells us … Tempe detectives submitted the case to a grand jury, which decided there was enough evidence to charge Sharper with a crime.”
As we previously reported, Police stated that two women claim Sharper drugged and sexually assaulted them at their apartment on November 20th. Police also report they had recovered the cup Sharper used to serve one of the women and it tested positive for traces of Ambien, the drug Sharper allegedly used to knock out his victims.
Arizona officials tell us Sharper has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and three counts of administering dangerous drugs.” While charges continue to pile up against the ex-football star, Sharper’s attorney Blair Berk continues to stand by his innocence. “We look forward to the true facts being revealed in this case, and we are hopeful that Mr. Sharper will be fully exonerated before this case is concluded.” – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
