Over the past few weeks, fans have been watching as the once unshakeable friendship between Cynthia Bailey and NeNe Leakes slowly crumbles on camera as Leakes feuds with Bailey’s husband, Peter Thomas. During Sunday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” things reached a breaking point when Leakes called Thomas a “b—-” during an argument as Bailey watched silently. And although Thomas has claimed that his wife did the right thing by remaining silent, Kandi Burruss and her reality TV sister, Tiny, recently claimed that Bailey should’ve checked Leakes for disrespecting her husband.

On Sunday night, “RHOA” fans watched as NeNe’s husband, Gregg Leakes, confronted Thomas about his previous argument with NeNe over her behavior at Kenya Moore’s masquerade ball. Things were already becoming outrageous between the two men as Leakes threatened Thomas’ life, but the disrespect definitely continued when NeNe joined the argument and told Thomas to stop acting like a “b—-” and stay out of women’s business.

After the episode aired, Burruss and her fellow former Xscape group mate Tiny appeared on  “Watch What Happens Live” and Burruss claimed that Bailey should’ve never let Thomas’ argument with NeNe go that far and she certainly should’ve check NeNe for her behavior.

“I just couldn’t believe that Cynthia was letting NeNe call Peter a b—- like that! I was just like, ‘Oh, she’s just going to let her say that?’” Kandi said. “She didn’t defend him at all!”

Tiny shared the same sentiment and claimed that it was Bailey’s duty to defend her husband against NeNe.

“I said the same thing,” Tiny exclaimed in agreement. “Come on; that is your man. You have to say something. You don’t let nobody call your man no b—-.”

However, Burruss did note that Thomas does “get in arguments with women a lot. But she still should’ve stuck up for him.”

Later on in the “After Show,” Burruss spoke about Thomas again and further explained why Bailey should’ve stuck up for her husband.

“I felt like he can speak up for himself,” said Kandi who suggested that he not get into loud arguments with women. “What I was trying to explain was, it seemed as though Cynthia should have stepped in. NeNe’s her friend. You know, you don’t let your friend disrespect your husband.”

Bailey has been very neutral and silent when it comes to her husband’s fights but at this point we don’t know if she will ever intervene. – nicholas robinson
