Major things are happening in hip-hop studios around the world, which means that we should be hearing some great music soon!
This time last week, Grand Hustle’s Jason Geter and T.I. had a meeting with Timbaland and Pharell, which we can only assume is about the King’s new album, which is set to be released this year.
While Hit-Boy played new music for the ladies from ASCAP, DJ Khaled crafted hits in the studio with Future, K. Michelle with Meek Mill, and Diddy with Kenny Burns. YG, who’s promoting his new album, My Krazy Life, took a break from the promo trail to jump in the studio with Jeezy and DJ Mustard. Keyshia Cole, also on a promo tour with her new single, “Rick James” received a studio visit from super producer Scott Storch, which keeps us on our toes waiting for new music from the R&B singer.
Ne-Yo, David Banner, and Trae the Truth must be cooking up something big; just like Jermaine Dupri, who recently hosted the Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug, DJ Drama and more at his Atlanta studio. Kandi Burruss, also in Atlanta, went back to the studio with her music confidant and engineer, “The Kandi Factory’s” Selasi.
