After millions and millions of records sold, both as a solo artist and as a member of The Fugees, it looks as if the well has ran completely dry for Wyclef Jean.
According to reports, the Haitian born, New Jersey raised musician is up to his neck in debt and has no foreseeable way out.
In addition to a thus far unpaid $2.1 million dollar tax lien owed to the IRS, Jean is currently being sued for a unrelated $133, 000 debt owed to another entity. When contacted by parties attempting to recover the $133,000 owed, Jean’s accountant, David Levin, revealed that Jean simply does not have the money:
“In my most professional verbiage…there ain’t no money.”
