Mayor Kasim Reed confirms engagement and fiancee’s pregnancy
Mayor Kasim Reed will soon be a married man, this according to the Atlanta dignitary himself who released a statement confirming the news. As previously reported, the 44-year-old mayor popped the question to his longtime love Sarah-Elizabeth Langford, 34. Langford was recently seen sporting a diamond sparkler on her ring finger while vacationing with Reed in the Bahamas.
“I could not feel more blessed that she agreed to marry me, and we look forward to building a family together in the greatest city in America,” said Reed in a statement released Monday morning. “I am honored to have our friends and family share this special moment with us and I ask that our privacy is respected as we celebrate this personal occasion.”
A spokeswoman for Mayor Reed has also confirmed that they’re expecting.
