Police in Broward County, Fla., have captured and arrested the couple who cheated the welfare system.
Colin and Andrea Chisholm were arrested in Port Everglades without incident. In addition to living on the yacht and getting food stamps, Medicaid and assistance for newborn mothers, the couple also failed to report $3 million in deposits.
On some of the public assistance forms filled out by the couple, they stated that they had no car, were living with family and had only $80 in cash. CBS 4 news reports that the couple was informed on by Colin Chisholm’s ex-wife of 20 years, which helped prosecutors develop a case.
The Chisolms are considered a flight risk and are being held without bond.
