If there’s one thing NeNe Leakes has shown during the latest season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” it’s that she has no qualms about letting an old friend loose. And she made that point clear on Sunday night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live” when she slammed her former BFF Cynthia Bailey and implied that she ruined their friendship when she sided with “the enemy.” Although many assumed that Leakes’ alleged enemy was Kenya Moore, a new report claims that the enemy in question is her husband, Gregg Leakes’, ex-girlfriend.
According to Reality Tea, back in 2012 StraightFromTheA.com reported that, after NeNe and Gregg’s 2011 divorce, Gregg began dating celebrity publicist Pam Pinnock, and was even photographed with NeNe’s son, Bryson, and his daughter. As we all know, Gregg eventually split from Pam and remarried NeNe last year.
However, Reality Tea claims that NeNe feels betrayed by Bailey because the model has become friends with Pinnock and even hired her to revamp her modeling agency’s image.
“Cynthia Bailey broke the number one rule in her and Nene Leakes FRIEND contract. DO NOT hang out with Greg’s jumpoff,” said a source.
“Cynthia and celebrity publicist Pam Pinnock have gotten really close and been hanging out while the publicist has been helping Cynthia revamp her model agency’s public image. Cynthia decided to hire a well-known publicist to clean up the agency brand or maybe to piss NeNe off. NeNe found out they been hanging out and EVERYBODY knows NeNe don’t like sharing her friends. But especially the ones who have shared a bed with her man Greg,” the source explained.
The source adds that, unlike Gregg and NeNe’s on-again, off-again friend Kim Zolciak, Cynthia may not get another chance to rekindle her relationship with NeNe.
“It’s really strange how she turned on Cynthia after all these years but when it comes to Gregg and his wandering eyes, NeNe don’t play that. Cynthia broke the contract rule so now NeNe wants Cynthia’s “RHOA” contract ripped up,” said the source.
The site claims that Pinnock has yet to confirm whether she’s working for Bailey, but if it is true, we’d have a better understanding of why NeNe would be so angry with Bailey. We’re hoping we’ll get more answers when the “RHOA” reunion begins airing this Sunday. – nicholas robinson
