This week, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America inducted the 2014 Class into its Alumni Hall of Fame at its 108th National Conference at a ceremony hosted by actor and Boys & Girls Clubs alumnus Courtney B. Vance in San Francisco.
Victor Cruz and Nick Cannon join an impressive group of politicians, professional athletes and business leaders who have incomparably contributed to their fields and to their local communities through the BGCA program. Hometown hero and NBA Legend Bill Russell, for example, attended the Boys & Girls Club in Oakland, CA as a youth. Russell is the sixth alumni inducted into the Hall of Fame from a Bay Area Club, making it the organization with the largest number of inductees to date.
