‘Washington Post’ confirms 50 Cent threw ‘worst opening pitch ever’

50cent

Yes, 50 Cent did indeed throw out the worst opening pitch ever.

According to The Washington Post, the hip-hop star’s already-infamous first pitch at Tuesday night’s Mets/Pirates game at Citi Field was absolutely the worst opening pitch of all time. The Post charted 50’s pitch along with other ceremonial first pitches that fell flat, including Kim Kardashian, Bill Clinton and Snoop Dogg.

The Washington Post admits that it’s chart is “highly unscientific,” and it was pieced together after viewing numerous YouTube videos of pitches and plotting them across a diagram of a strike zone.

“The tried-and-true ‘eyeballin’ it’ method,” states The Washington Post.

“50 Cent is indeed in a league of his own in terms of his ball’s horizontal distance from home plate,” the report says. “It’s a bit of a toss-up whether his pitch is farther from the plate than Carly Rae Jepsen’s pitch last July, although it’s difficult to compare the two since Jepsen’s pitch hit the ground about halfway there.”
