Floyd Mayweather has caught flack for defending Justin Bieber’s use of the N-word. Hours after a videotape surfaced of Bieber using the N-word in a racist joke, Mayweather defended the young singer on Twitter.
“Justin has been nothing but kind to me, my daughters and sons over the years. We all make mistakes when we are young, it’s a part of growing up,” Mayweather tweeted.
In another tweet, Mayweather said, “I am proud of what he’s doing as a 20-year-old musician and businessman.”
Mayweather caught severe backlash on Twitter as some called him “Uncle Tom,” and a “sell-out” for defending Bieber.
