All last season on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kenya Moore claimed to the world that she was dating an “African Prince,” while refusing to share any other details or have him appear on camera. As expected, few people believed she actually had a boyfriend and it wasn’t until she revealed an intimate photo in May of her cuddling with an unknown man that people began believing her “African prince” is real. Now, Moore is opening up, once again, about her love life and explaining why she now refuses to give details about her man.
In a recent interview with TheJasmineBrand.com, Moore said that she’s learned now to keep her love life under wraps and to just let the public assume what they will about who she’s dating.
“You know, I’ve learned a lot from my previous mistakes and announcing who I’m dating. I would just rather people just think I’m not dating anybody, than to put my relationship out there and people are in your business and it somehow affects your relationship and it really does,” Moore explained.
It’s a stark contrast from Moore’s thoughts on sharing her love life when she first joined the cast of “RHOA” two years ago. As fans remember, cameras plastered nearly every detail about Moore’s relationship with her so-called ex-boyfriend, Walter Jackson, across the cameras, even his allegations that she paid him to act as her boyfriend on the show.
Now it appears that Moore has learned her lesson about keeping some things sacred, or, if the accusations that she lied about Jackson are true, she at least learned to keep her details of her fake relationships simple and scarce. –nicholas robinson
