What are your day-to-day responsibilities?
My day to day responsibilities include business development, marketing and fundraising for Pink Power International. I interact with government agencies, corporations and academic institutions regarding women initiatives.

What is the organization’s mission statement?
Pink Power’s mission is dedicated to improving performance by focusing on core areas such as technology, personal branding, equal rights, wellness, sustainability, social media and the three major “ships” that will change the course of a woman’s road to success: leadership, mentorship, and entrepreneurship.

What are the top three (3) benefits of doing business with your company?
Top three (3) benefits:
1. Exposure to top industry leaders
2. Connections that empower for economic advancement
3. Knowledge & Education that propel your business and your brand

How do you approach business challenges?
I approach business challenges in both the spiritual as well as the natural. The spiritual because most challenges can be defeated with the right mindset. In the natural, I look at the resources that are available to me and how I can use them to overcome my business challenge.

What are two (2) key factors for success in business?
First is having a plan. If you have a plan you have a clear path. When you get up every day working toward your purpose and plan you will eventually see the success. Someone once told me that whatever you are seeking is seeking you and if that is your attitude then your success will find you. Second you have to have a mentor. A mentor can guide you and open doors of opportunity and advancement for you and your business.

What do you want your legacy to be both personally and professionally?
Personally my children are are legacy. They are both everything I would want to leave as a legacy, insightful, creative, intelligent and thoughtful individuals. Professionally, it is my work with Pink Power International. Empowering women for a more sustainable future.

How are you using technology and social media to benefit the organization?
I use technology and social media to stay connected with our attendees and to understand their needs in business and in the workplace. We have the Pink Power International App on iTunes and Google Play. This allows us to send information to our participants as well as allow our partners to promote products and services to our members.

What are three (3) quotes that keep you motivated and affirmed?
1. The speed of the leader determines the speed of the pack.
2. When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful
3. “You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it courageously.”

Name three business leaders who inspire you. Why?
Oprah Winfrey is a trendsetter and a giver. I love that about her. She has overcome barriers of gender, color and class to be the absolute best.

Joyce Meyers gives a gift of hope and inspiration for so many. However; she has taken her talent of encouragement and become an accomplished author, speaker and successful businesswoman.

Sheryl Sandberg, founder of Lean In and COO of Facebook is a global catalyst for the empowerment of women. She inspires me with innovative approach to cultivating women leaders.

Describe your networking style.
I have a very direct networking style. I never meet a stranger!
