Soulja Boy joining “Love & Hip Hop: LA”

Rapper Soulja Boy is set to try his hand at reality TV. According to TMZ, the “Crank That” rapper has signed on to join the cast of “Love & Hip Hop: L.A.” in an effort to pump some life into the show.

“Sources close to production tell us … the show’s been struggling with weak story lines and uninteresting characters … and producers felt they needed to add a big name rapper to liven things up.

Currently, Ray J is the standout star on “L&HHLA” “and producers think he and Soulja Boy will be a huge hit together. Sources close to Ray J say he’s pumped about his new co-star.”

Soulja Boy will join the likes of Ray J, Teairra Marí, Princess Love, Omarion, fellow rapper Yung Berg, Shad Moss’ baby mama Miss Joie and more.

If it’s drama VH1 is looking for, Soulja Boy and his sizzurp sipping antics are sure to be a hit. Will you be watching? – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
