Chris Farley

Farley was one of the breakout stars of “Saturday Night Live” in the early 1990s; leaving the show in 1995 to star in a string of successful comedy movies. But Farley was emotionally conflicted over his fame and how much his weight affected his stardom. The star struggled with self-esteem issues and depression consistently during the last years of his life, and sought drugs as a way to ease his pain. He died of a heroin overdose in 1997 at the age of 33.
