Martin Lawrence
One of the most successful comedic actors of the 1990s, Lawrence developed a reputation for erratic outbursts that many have claimed are a result of bipolar disorder or manic depression. He became violent on the set of his 1995 film A Thin Line Between Love and Hate and was arrested in 1997 after he was seen brandishing a pistol on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles, screaming, “They’re trying to kill me!” He was hospitalized after both incidents.
