Katt Williams
Williams became a household name in the early 2000s on the back of a string of successful televised comedy specials and his seemingly-endless touring. The Cincinnati native was making the transition into popular films when he became involved in a series of bizarre run-ins with the law. In 2006, he was arrested at LAX after a stolen gun was found in his briefcase; in 2010, he was accused of stealing $3,500 worth of coins and jewelry while shooting a film in Georgia; in 2012 he was accused of punching his assistant and arrested for beating a man with a bottle; that same year he was arrested for evading police on a three-wheeler in Sacramento, California.
In 2013, in an open letter to media outlets, after Williams was arrested for endangering his children, an unnamed associate of the star blamed his erratic behavior on manic depression.
