A Florida woman was arrested after she set her boyfriend on fire. According to The Smoking Gun, Necole Stephens was upset that her boyfriend, Marcos Fuentes, was texting and became jealous.
Stephens grabbed medical alcohol and threw it on Fuentes. She then used a lighter to set his clothes on fire. She eventually fled the scene.
When Fuentes was being taken away by an emergency helicopter, he told authorities about the altercation.
However, when police called Stephens, she told them Fuentes was participating in the fire challenge popularized on YouTube by teenagers. She said she left the home because she was scared.
Stephens was eventually arrested and charged with felony assault. Fuentes suffered second degree burns on the left side of his body.
