Police scandals rock Louisville, Kentucky

On September 9, 2014, Louisville Metro police officer Jennifer Knopf was charged with  kicking a handcuffed female shoplifting suspect in the chest. The attack was unprovoked and now the officer has been criminally charged with official misconduct and harassment with physical contact. Officer Knopf a six-year veteran, has been stripped of police powers and is on paid administrative duty pending the outcome of the investigation. The whole incident was caught on her police car dashcam.
