Steve Harvey welcomes Paula Deen as a guest on his daytime talk show. No topic is off limits. She’ll discuss her recent fall from grace, forgiveness, second chances and what she’s learned in the last year, as well as her plans for a comeback. On the show, Harvey will announce that Deen and her team will advise boys from the Steve Harvey Mentoring Camp, to help cultivate and foster their passion for the culinary field. Each year over Father’s Day weekend, Steve Harvey opens his Dallas ranch to 100 fatherless teen boys for a mentoring camp. Throughout the weekend, Harvey teaches them the principles of manhood and provides mentorship by introducing them to positive male role models.
In telling his viewers about his new partnership, Harvey explains that he reached out to Deen’s team. “Paula and her team has agreed to take as many boys as I want to fly down to Savannah and teach them culinary skills,” he said. “That to me, is how you get something from something. There has to be a good behind everything,” he elaborated.
