Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker may be happily married, but their mothers, Mama Joyce and Miss Sharon, have been far from friendly with each other on reality TV. And now that rumors are spreading that the two mothers will fight in the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Miss Sharon is opening up about the rumors and why she and Joyce are feuding.
In an interview with RadarOnline, Sharon addressed the “Kandi’s Wedding” spin-off, in which she famously almost came to blows with Joyce after being called a “prostitute.”
“I have never been a prostitute, I am not a prostitute,” she said. “I am 70 years old, I don’t have the time to deal with people like that. It takes too much energy.”
Although she’s rumored to have finally gotten into a physical altercation with Joyce on the new “RHOA,” Sharon denies the claims and says she refuses “to stoop to Joyce’s caliber; to her ignorance.”
“There has not been a fight, I haven’t been in a fight,” she insisted. “We had words before the wedding and that was it. That’s when I called her a b—- because she had been acting like a b—-. I didn’t know she called me a prostitute or else I would have addressed it.”
