Chief Keef’s artist, Yae Yae Jordan, charged with murder

Another affiliate of Chief Keef has been linked to a crime. According to the Detroit Free Press, Yae Yae, born Cordell Jones, was allegedly involved in a fatal shooting at a nightclub in Detroit.

Reportedly, Yae Yae had an altercation at  Club DejaVu. Authorities believe that Yae Yae shot and killed one person and injured several others.


Before Yae Yae turned himself in to authorities, he made a video proclaiming his innocence and posted it online. “ATF outside, they got me. I’m  innocent. I ain’t do s—. I’m gonna take it like a man. Hold me down.”

Yae Yae was signed by Chief Keef and his Glo Gang record label this past summer. He was making a name for himself as an up-and-coming rapper in the Detroit area.


His video for the song “Closer” has more than 20,000 views.
