1. Read Scripture. Regardless of what religion or spiritual path that you follow, the guidebooks meant to order your path are remarkably efficient in their ability to help you see the light. Even if you don’t believe in God, there’s no denying that there is a power that is greater than you that continues to order all things. When times are tough, I remember that I am a part of that power, and I read specific Scriptures, be it the Bible, the Qur’an, the Tao Te Ching, or the Bhagavad Gita, that reaffirm that belief so that I can find a way out of what seems like no way.
