Footage surfaced of Drake angrily tossing a wad of cash and storming into Club Stadium in Washington, D.C., this weekend. Reportedly, Drake had just left the club where he was celebrating his birthday. He came back looking for a fight. Rumors are swirling as to what happened. Some claim Drizzy’s entourage got into an altercation with an unspecified person; others say that one of estranged Young Money rapper Tyga’s camp attacked Drake’s DJ. Nothing has been confirmed.

Aside from the incident in D.C., Drake also released three new songs this weekend. The rapper has been hard at work on his forthcoming album View From the 6, and gave his fans a taste of what to expect on the project.
The songs aren’t awful, but aren’t particularly remarkable either. “How Bout Now” finds Drake in familiar territory; narcissism-posing-as-heartache as the Young Money rapper pettily mocks a woman who ignored his affection before but who’s fallen on hard times now. “Heat of the Moment” opens with Drake complaining about children obsessing over rappers he “can’t stand” (“We don’t need no more”) but soon descends into more Drake heart-wringing over an unnamed girl.
“6 God” is the most bravado-laden of the three tracks, and it’s Boi 1Da production is stellar, but Drake sounds woefully uninspired, as he delivers by-the-numbers Young Money machismo.
