What did Tyler the Creator say about Eminem’s new album that was so harsh?

Eminem released the Shady Records compilation Shady XV this week, and the album has received mix reviews. The project prominently features Em and a bevy of Shady Records stars, including Yelawolf and Skylar Grey; but one prominent Eminem fan was not feeling the rapper’s latest effort. Tyler the Creator slammed Shady XV via Twitter, admitting that he does not like the album at all.

“I love you Marshall, you are my favorite rapper but dude shadyxv is f—— A–” Tyler tweeted. “hahaha why wont someone who loves him tell him NO.”

Tyler’s fan-dom regarding Eminem is well-documented and obvious. Tyler’s knack for macabre and outlandish lyrics bear the mark of Slim Shady’s influence and Tyler and his Odd Future collective opened up for Eminem’s show at London’s Wembley Stadium; a concert that broke records.

But after giving his unfiltered opinion, it looks the rapper-producer wanted everyone to know he didn’t intend to ruffle any feathers; joking that he was going to erase the tweet.

“OK now I’m gonna delete everything,” he posted. “Goodbye.”
