Middle fingers up in face, against police bullets in Ferguson

finger-3

The reality is that police brutality against the black man in America has become generational. Whether it was the “Paddy Rollers” of the 1800’s or the police patrol of the inner city in 2014, black skin has a separate justice. In 1967, President Lyndon Johnson formed a National Advisory Committee on Civil Disorder to try to understand the series of riots that plagued the U.S. since 1964. In 1968, that Committee issued what became known as the “Kerner Report.” The report famously stated that, “Our nation is moving toward two societies, one Black, one White — separate and unequal.” That same year Dr. King was killed and the cities erupted again.

Now America witnesses the anger of young black men, who wade through tear gas and no longer fear the policeman’s bullet.
