It looks as though the union of Lil Wayne and Cash Money Records is really coming to an end.

During a recent performance at Vice’s 20 year anniversary party, Wayne took the stage to perform and could not hold himself back from speaking on his label woes.

“I was supposed to drop my new album Dec. 9, but due to technical difficulties, I’m f—ed up, in a bad situation,” Weezy told the packed house. “But I will be out of it soon and I do it for y’all.”

Meanwhile, fans of the Young Money boss are being proactive in the wake of the delay of his much anticipated Carter V album.

Deciding that they cant wait any longer, die-hard Weezy fans have created a petition on ipetition.com pleading with Cash Money CEO Baby aka Birdman to release the fifth and supposedly final install in Wayne’s Carter series that reads in part:

Greetings from the fans of Lil Wayne aka Lil Tunechi,

We would like to take the time to request that Baby and Cash Money Records consider releasing Lil Wayne aka Lil Tunechi’s new album for the holidays. We the fans have truly been looking forward to a new release and hope you will reconsider your decision not to release it. Thank you so much in advance for your consideration.
Signed,

Stay tuned to see how this one plays out folks.
