Chris Rock calls Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger ‘the original Cosby’

Comedian Chris Rock is making waves in the media after taking a dig at Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

While at a recent screening for his new film, Top Five, Rock called Roethlisberger “‘the original Cosby” in reference to rape allegations levied against the star football player that many felt were swept under the rug because of his star status.

“That’s horrible,” Rock said immediately after realizing his remark would probably go viral. “That’s gonna go everywhere.”

In 2008 the 6-foot-5 240-pound Roethlisberger was sued by a woman named Andrea McNulty, who claimed that he tricked her into coming to his hotel room before forcibly having sex with her. All parties involved agreed to drop the suit in December of 2011. Prior to that suit being dropped, in 2010, Roethlisberger was again accused of sexual misconduct. This time he was alleged to have raped a woman in the bathroom of a Georgia bar. The prosecutor in that case opted to not file criminal charges.

Roethlisberger was suspended for six games without pay for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy but the suspension was ultimately reduced to four games.

He can b brilliant & very funny, but on this one Chris Rock is an idiot that can’t count on his fingers. Over how many years & how many women have been making these allegations against Bill Cosby? “The Original Cosby”??- give it a break man!! Ben wasn’t even a twinkle in his Dad’s eyes when Cosby was already in high gear. This stupidity probably has something 2 do with drinkin the water in Baltimore & tryin way 2 hard 2 b funny.

I was about to make the same remark. Cosby has had these allegations since the 70’s. However, Ben is someone who stayed with a rape/sexual assault charge until recent years, but they would all just “disappear.” So, this may have been the point he was trying to make.

Wait a minute…where’s all the outrage!! Ben is a sexual predator….thus the suspension after the NFL investigation. But this SOB gets a pass. What des it matter whether Cosby or anyone else sexually assaulted a women, Ben has to answer for his sh*t too!
