Mister Cee’s personal life has been plastered all over the Internet for the past year, ever since he was arrested for soliciting sex from an undercover male cop posing as a prostitute. Since then, Mister Cee has touched upon his attraction to transgender women but hasn’t yet defined his sexuality. But in a recent interview with the New York Times, he’s opened up about his sexuality and his life after the scandal.
In his interview, Mister Cee opened up about his earlier disclosures that he had solicited transgender prostitutes and explained that he’s now in therapy to deal with what he calls his “addiction.”
“I go to therapy twice a month,” which he says helps him understand his sexuality. And although he defends his behavior, he admits that, “doing it illegally was wrong.”
“Saying all of it was wrong is not fair to myself, and it’s not fair to the gay community,” he added.
And although Mister Cee admits that he has an attraction to trans women, and possibly men, he explains that he’s still unsure of what his sexuality is.
“It’s not that I don’t want to say I’m bisexual,” he said. “It’s almost like, you hear a certain record — is this a hip-hop record or an R&B record? I’m not so sure. I guess that’s where I am.”
Well, whatever definition he comes up with, we hope that Mister Cee has moved past the turmoil he was clearly in last year and finds both peace and acceptance in himself.
