A man became furious at a toddler due to a slice of missing cheesecake. According to reports, Anthony Gulledge, 30, went to his girlfriend’s home in Memphis, Tennessee, and began searching for his cheesecake in the refrigerator on Jan. 8.

When he couldn’t find the cheesecake, Gulledge pulled his girlfriend’s 3-year-old son out of his room by his ankles. After dragging the boy across the floor, Gulledge began beating the boy. He eventually stopped beating the child. However, he grabbed the child and beat him again later that night.

Gulledge’s girlfriend called the police the next day reported him to authorities. The police saw bruises all over the boy and Gulledge was arrested. When the boy went to the hospital, doctors determined that the toddler had a broken femur bone and dislocated vertebrae. The child is in critical condition.

Gulledge has been charged with aggravated child abuse, neglect and domestic assault. His bail has been set at $210,000.
