In June 2013, after the Food Network and several others dropped celebrity chef Paula Deen following allegations of racist antics, Dash elected to extend she and her daughter’s support, tweeting “God does everything for a reason @Paula_Deen Only God can judge your heart. BTW my daughter loves your show (only way she can get me to cook).”
