British Newspaper Dailymail.com reports that Whitney Houston’s former bodyguard, David Roberts, has broken his long years of silence regarding his employment with superstar Whitney Houston. Roberts stated that Houston’s life was full of alcohol, drugs and degenerates and that at times he feared for the life of Bobbi Kristina Brown and her mother.
Roberts is well known in the security industry and is ex-special forces, he was reportedly the inspiration for the movie “The Bodyguard” which starred Kevin Costner in the role of bodyguard. Roberts is quoted as saying about Bobbi Kristina:
“That girl had no chance from the start. She was born into chaos. Her father was instrumental in her mother’s downfall. Everyone is responsible for their own actions, but Whitney was vulnerable. She was obsessed with Bobby Brown and he subjected her to so much psychological abuse that she lost everything, including her dignity. “
Roberts spared no words about his feelings regarding the parenting of Bobbi Kristina and stated:
“I watched Bobbi Kristina as a little girl, running around the corridors of hotels we were staying in, surrounded by the degenerates who were supposed to be looking after her, and I worried for her future. When I heard what had happened to Bobbi Kristina, I wasn’t surprised, but I was angry. Everything good Bobby Brown’s ever had in his life, he’s destroyed – his career, Whitney, and now Bobbi Kristina. She’s another victim of his poisonous personality.”
Roberts paints a picture of Whitney Houston’s life that some have speculated upon and others have kept silent. His allegations include drug abuse, alcoholism and marital infidelity, inflicted upon Houston by Bobby Brown. He squarely puts the blame for the tragic downfall of Houston and Bobbi Kristina on the toxic relationship with Brown.
